Three Hundred Sixty-Four Days

Riso-printed Children’s Book

»Three Hundred Sixty-Four Days« is a series of illustrations for a children’s book, brought to life through Risograph printing.

The technique’s analog imperfections become part of the visual charm. Working with vibrant fluorescent orange ink I created bold yet warm imagery with minimalist restraint.

The Risograph is a Japanese printing machine that works like a cross between a photocopier and a screen printer, applying each color separately through a stencil. The limited color palette and characteristic print textures create a distinctive analog aesthetic with subtle imperfections and a warm, tactile quality impossible to achieve digitally.
