Although La Paz is a big city, the coffee culture there isn't quite as developed as we’d experienced it in other South American cities. So at first we had some difficulty finding a café that served good espresso and cappuccino.

Before we came to Bolivia, we did a lot of research online. During this research, a particularly good restaurant in the city was repeatedly mentioned online as a must-visit when in La Paz. The restaurant in question is called “Gustu,” located just outside the city.
Helado de Canela

While we lived in La Paz for a few weeks, we continued working remotely during the day. After work and on the weekends, we explored the city. On our many walks through La Paz, we repeatedly saw small stalls selling a deep red creamy substance in cups.
Mercado de las Brujas

A very special place in La Paz is the "Mercado de las Brujas" — the Witches' Market. As mentioned in my previous posts about La Paz, the city simply feels magical and enchanted. This feeling is especially noticeable when strolling through the Witches' Market.

La Paz has several small but interesting museums that are definitely worth a visit when you are staying in La Paz. One of them is the National Museum of Ethnography and Folklore.
